The use graywater and rainwater buildings
Úterský, Michal ; Raček, Jakub (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The function of this bachelor thesis is to point out the possible usage of grey water and rainwater in buildings. The main aim is the saving of drinking water in particular family house, backward usage of cleaned grey water and rainwater in households and the processing of balance of production and consumption of grey water and rainwater.
Rainwater-treatment and rainwater utilization
Štefek, Miroslav ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is developing searches which are focused to treatment with rainwater and it's next utilization. We can find general information about situation in Czech Republic in this work and we can also read about products for rainwater treatment which are available in the market. There is a calculation for house too where we can see if it is advantageous step if we'll purchase rainwater treatment products.
Sanitation installation and gas installation in a social building
Matějková, Lucie ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis contain parts of theory, calculation and projekt. Theory occupy with pollution sewerage water with fats and oils and their separation. Calculation solves proposal of internal water pipe, gas pipe and sewerage system. Projekt contain technical report and technical drawings.
Drainage of rainwater from roofs
Lexa, Dominik ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
The master's thesis is focused on sanitary and gas installations in the production hall. It is a building with one floor. The theoretical part is focused on draining rainwater from roofs. The calculation part and the project contain a proposal for a separate sewerage, water supply, gas pipeline and and several other variant solutions.
Detection of rainwater infiltration using EIS method
Lipinský, Vít ; Maleňák,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with the detection of rainwater infiltration in soils using the method of electrical impedance spectrometry. Its aim is to assess the suitability of this method and equipment for measuring the role of water infiltration in soils.
Study and characterization of organic substances in a biochar sample
Vojáčková, Beáta ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Enev, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis characterizes biochar from a physico-chemical point of view. The theoretical part deals with biochar as a soil conditioner, its properties, use, production, and last but not least, effect of its sorroundings. For better characterization of organic and inorganic matter a phosphate buffer was used. This buffer ensures their specific extraction due to a neutral pH. The second path is to use rainwater, which simulates the condition of the soil environment. In the experimental part are discussed both; purified buffer-extracted samples and rainwater samples, which were studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), elemental analysis (EA) and by infrared spectroscopy with Fouier transform (FTIR-ATR). Conductivity and pH were also measured. Moisture and ash content, which represent the inorganic non-combustible fraction, were determined using thermogravimetry. The extraction yields were converted to ashless wt. % based on these values. Results of EA provided us with information on the content of biogenic elements and basic physico-chemical characteristics of biochar. In contrast, the FTIR method defined the presence of individual functional groups and specific constitutive units, which are present in the extracts. This information allows us to better understand the environmental impact of biochar on the soil ecosystem.
Utilization of the greywater
Zríni, Miroslav ; Soukup, Lubomír (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor work consists of two parts. First is the theoretical research about waste water of household. Due to the different features of the water, it is divided into greywater and rainwater. In each section are mentioned properties, quality needs, cleaning method and others. Concrete utilization of these waters is illustrated on the recycling system by company Asio. s.r.o. Last chapter deals with heat recovery of the greywater. Second, the practical part is aimed at proposal of a small recycling unit in certain location. It includes proposal of a storage tank, selection of a pump device or water station and any necessary accessories. The end is concluded with financial balance-sheet of the project.
Use of buildings rainwater for irrigation and soaking ind the Moravské Křižánky village
Hubený, Michal ; Kameníčková, Ivana (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue and utilisation of rainwater. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of general rainwater distribution, the formation of individual rainfall - its composition, quality, surface run-off, individual possibilities of water purification, accumulation and infiltration. The ways of using rainwater in households and gardens are also described in thesis. The practical part deals with the use of rainwater around a family house in the specific location. The area is located in the village called Moravske Krizanky in Vysočina region. In conclusion, a complete solution for rainwater accumulation, irrigation and infiltration was developed.
Problems of disposal with rainwater from a communication
Oprchalová, Marie ; Pollert,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Palčík,, Jiří (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
Transportation has unfavorably influence on a quality of enviroment. Increase of traffic leads to construction of new motorways and to intensify the traffic on current comunications. A consequence is more polluted hard surfaces, when surface-wash contaminate soil, surface water and underground water. Devices for treating contamined water, such as oil-separators, are very actual in these days. The subject of this thesis was to test the possibilities of increasing effectiveness of mechanical separator for light liquids by installing various types of constructions. Target was to determine effectiveness of this conventional technology, which is energetically and technically simple and find out applicability for first step cleaning and further usage.
EVALUATION OF INVESTMENT IN RAINWATER MANAGEMENT
Foltynová, Markéta ; Čačková, Dominika (referee) ; Kocourková, Gabriela (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of investment in rainwater management. The theoretical part briefly defines the terms related to investment, such as what investments are and how we can finance them, describes the critical economic indicators, concepts for subsidy programs as a possible source of financing, and last but not least, shows important concepts for rain and waste waters. The practical part of the work is devoted to the evaluation of the investment in a specific project provided by the company Nádrže 24, s.r.o. with the consent of the investor. The technical solution of the project, project financing and subsequent economic evaluation of the investment in this project are proposed here. In the last part of this work, the proposed financing is compared with an alternative option, and it is determined whether this option is the most advantageous for the investor.
